PHOENICIA. Tripolis. Hadrian, 117-138. Triassarion (Bronze, 25 mm, 11.76 g, 12 h), CY 428 = 117. ΑΥΤΟΚΡ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ΤΡΑΙΑΝΟϹ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ Laureate head of Hadran to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. ΤΡΙΠΟΛЄΙΤⲰΝ / ΗΚΥ Tyche-Astarte of Tripolis, turreted, standing right, her right foot set on prow, holding long stylis in her right hand and raising her dress with her left. BMC 44-45. Rouvier 1694. RPC III online 3828.33 (this coin). An unusually well preserved example. Some minor smoothing, otherwise, good very fine.
